Dr. Justin Raanan is a Beverly Hills native having been born and raised in our beautiful city. He attended the University of California, Los Angeles for his undergraduate degree. He studied Anthropology Biological Science and graduated Magna Cum Laude Latin Honors with a Bachelor of Science. Early on, Dr. Raanan had a passion for dentistry. He gained acceptance to the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. Through much studying, hard work, and a drive to succeed, he graduated with honors. Next, Dr. Raanan had the opportunity to specialize in the field of Periodontology. In this phase of his education and training, he attended the prestigious Harvard School of Dental Medicine wherein he received a Master of Medical Sciences (MMSc) in Oral Biology.
As a Beverly Hills Dentist, Dr. Justin Raanan is exceptionally trained in Periodontics and Dental Implants. The field of Periodontology as a whole specializes in the treatment and prevention of gum disease. Dr. Raanan is passionate about this specialized field of dentistry because so many suffer from it and are unaware of it. In Dr. Justin Raanan’s community, he believes in making a difference with the charitable organization, Homeless Not Toothless. Through this organization, they give homeless people back their smile. Dr. Raanan also spends his free time helping children in less affluent socio-economic areas of the city of Los Angeles. These children receive free dental care through the Giving a Smile Foundation. Dr. Justin Raanan is passionate not only about dentistry but about people.
Dr. Justin Raanan and Dr. Rodney Raanan established the Giving a Smile Foundation to help the children in our community and globally maintain excellent oral health. With the proper education and top-notch dentalcare, the underprivilege youth of Los Angeles now have the tools they need to achieve a lifetime of healthy, beautiful teeth. This has wide-reaching effects that improve a child’s life on almost every level.
